I know it's been a while but I finally got around to doing some digiscrapping.... there's lots of new and interesting challenges going on at Pickleberrypop. I've been playing with the new template from Lorie M all this week....not sure what Im doing most of the time lol

Some great advice I found while browsing...

HANDBOOK FOR 2010!
Health:

1. Drink plenty of water.

2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.

3.. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy

5. Make time to pray.

6. Play more games

7. Read more books than you did in 2009.

8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day

9. Sleep for 7 hours.

10. Take a 10-30 minutes’ walk daily. And while you walk, smile.

Personality:

11. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

12. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

13. Don't overdo. Keep your limits.

14. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does...

15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.

16. Dream more while you are awake

17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

Im back again.....for how long? I have no idea!!

I was inspired to crack open my Paint Shop Pro and scrap some pictures tonight after joining some fun and frivolity in a chat held at Pickleberrypop.....

I have some unfinished things on my Creative To Do List from a few months ago but I had to add these two new challenges at PBP....

The first one is another awesome template by kirstiegai....Kirstie called it a "busy" page and I'll admit Im a little scared and intimidated lol

G'day Trendsetters!

Talk about a bad start to the week!! Over the weekend, both my dryer and dishwasher decided to blow up on me.....the dishwasher wasn't a big surprise considering its now going on 13 years old and has been on the blink for the past few months........but the dryer I wasnt expecting, and with all this wet weather around too!!

The dryer went first on Saturday....it has power but wont tumble and of course the diswasher packed it in with a Sunday load of the weekends dirty dishes.....Well...I totally lost it!!......I kicked it (ouch that hurt!) and cursed it and called it names......then begged it to work for me just ONE last time lol......but to no avail. It has had a long hard life making my life easier.....

May it 'Rest In Peace' in dishwasher heaven.

So guess what I got to do today??? All the washing up!!!

I SOOOOOO don't like Mondays!!

I don't want to Jonah myself but I can't help but wonder what will break down next as bad luck always run in three's.

On a brighter note....tax time is just around the corner.....if Im lucky I might squeeze a new stainless steel dishwasher out of my refund. Cross your fingers for me!! lol

Ive been on a mystery blog train and a spring blog train....became an instant fan of some new designers lol, basically Ive been a total freebie junkie.....I purchased some sweet bargains too, a couple of jam packed monthly grab bags, cant wait to play with them all. Please bare with me on this post as I add pics, fan blinkies, links etc and save it, I started this post last night and got distracted downloading lol I cant post everything because I would rather be scrapping lol

G'day Trendsetters!!

Wow what is going on?...this year is zipping by so fast!.....its May already!!

No new pages to share, so far this week Ive been busy catching up on washing and housework, going to dentist and doctors appointments and brainstorming ideas for my DDs 10th birthday party later (26th) this month.....did some online and window shopping @ the local shopping centre for a new printer. I also have a divorce party to plan...my offical paperwork arrived today lol

I've fallen behind on my creative to do list, some are now overdue lol...I'll get back to them later this week...my psychologist told me I HAVE to do something enjoyable for myself for at LEAST 1 hour a day as part of my therapy lol.

While Im on the topic scrappy things...

Just a quick note after a busy weekend. My DD had her first dance troupe eisteddfod of 2009 this weekend. Today (Sunday) they performed their new "Hoodie" hip hop routine which was enjoyed by the judges and placed 2nd....wooooooohoooooo!!.... and only 1 point separated them from 1st place!!

I still havent found time to scrap!! dagnabbit!!....

Too many household distractions, phone calls, etc lol

I added something new to my Challenge Tracker List today ...this time it's a white space challenge @ PBP....Ive been inspired to do this by all the wonderful LO's I've been seeing in the Gallery....the way things are looking around here though, I might not get to this one in time but I remain hopeful.....there is a chance to win a $10 gift voucher to spend in the PBP Store on offer too.....thats all the motivation I need.....scrappy retail therapy wooohoooo!! LOL.

White Space

I could be scrapping right now lol but instead Im setting up a brand new Toshiba A300 Laptop that I bought my DS (13) today....his last 3 years of primary school he was part of an IT class. Our house was robbed in Feb 2008 and his old one was stolen and I didn't have any household contents insurance! :(

Im a single mum and money is always tight so until recently I hadnt been able to afford to buy DS a new one.....I am very thankful for the governements income stimulus relief package!!

Anyway enough of my rambling...off to see how the Vista updates on DS laptop are going lol

Hi,
My apologies for the lack of content here on my blog.....real life has been keeping me busy and I havent had much time to play creatively unfortunately.....homework has taken priority.
I have 3 weeks left of my Financial Services course that I have been doing....reskilling in my continued efforts of re-entering the workforce after being a SAHM for the past 12 years.
Ive had a few photo opportunities recently with my youngest daughter Olivia's dance troupe esteddfods and our new and very cute bunny wabbit called Abby (after Abby from NCIS) ...currently they are still sitting in the memory of my digital camera lol
Im looking forward to making pages for them and so many other photos that I have in photo albums and boxes in various places around the house. Im learning things as I go along my scrapbooking journey which is all part of the fun and the excitement.....just like when I started to make tags......still on a learning curve after 4 years of tagging.
I wasnt happy with the fuzziness of the pic of Olivia that I used in my first scrap page so I've been researching photo editing tutorials to learn how to fine tune my scrap pictures.....learnt how to remove red eye ;)
Id like to say a big thank you to all the wonderful designers and creators out there in the digiscrap/PSP world who generously share their talent.....so many wonderful freebies....my favorites list is getting bigger and the free space on my external hard drive is getting smaller lol

Just so ya know.....Im not the best blogger......I hope to be back soon with a few new digiscrap masterpieces to show off.......until then.......Blessed be ye in thy creativity!!
